PRODUCT USE

BEFORE STARTING
OIL
The engine comes without oil. The engine oil has to be added before starting
the engine. See the "technical data" section to know the quantity and type
of oil to be used and add the oil. Do not overfill it (fill only up to the MAX
mark on the oil dipstick). Use clean oils and high quality detergent and do
not mix oil with gasoline.
FUEL
The appropriate type of fuel for this engine is unleaded petrol 95. Unscrew the fuel tank cap, add fuel to the neck
of the tank but do not fill it until it overflows. Always add fresh, clean, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of
at least 95.
INSPECTION BEFORE YOU BEGIN
1.
Make sure all nuts and bolts are secure.
2.
Check the oil level in the crankcase.
3.
Check that the air is clean.
4.
Fill the fuel tank.
5.
Check for signs of fuel leaks.
6.
Inspect the fuel hoses.
7.
Make sure that the spark plug wire and the spark plug are appropriately tighten.
8.
Look for signs of damage to the engine.
9.
Remove dirt from the muffler and starter area.
10.
Check that the battery is correctly connected.
USE OF THE MACHINE
ELECTRICAL START
ELECTRIC COLD START:
1.
Open the fuel supply.
2.
Place the air intake in the closed position.
3.
Move the accelerator 1/4 of its stroke clockwise.
4.
Turn the ignition key clockwise until the engine starts "START". Repeat this operation if necessary until the
start-up is achieved
5.
Once the engine is on, move the air intake to the open position.
ELECTRIC HOT START:
1.
Open the fuel supply.
2.
Move the air intake to the open position.
3.
Turn the ignition key clockwise until the engine starts "START". Repeat this operation if necessary until the
start-up is achieved.
