person.
WARNING – To prevent severe shock or electrocution, always
turn power off at the service panel before installing this unit,
working on the circuit, or changing a lamp.
CAUTION – To reduce the risk of overheating and possible
damage to other equipment, do not install incandescent
dimmer to control a receptacle, a fluorescent light or bulb, a
motor-operated appliance, or a transformer-supplied appliance.
• Do not use dimmer with incandescent lamps whose power
requirements exceeds maximum power (stated in Watts) of
the dimmer.
• Do not connect dimmer to power source other than 120VAC,
60 Hz only.
• A 25 W minimum load is required.
• Use copper wire only.
The TDA-603 Universal Touch Dimmer is designed to replace
a standard light switch or dimmer. It controls a variety of load
types including: incandescent, quartz halogen, dimmable
magnetic or electronic low voltage transformers, dimmable
cold cathode neon ballasts, dimmable two wire fluorescent
(Advance Mark X or equivalent) and compact fluorescent
ballasts.
The Touch Dimmer operates in the following way:
The load status LED located on the top of the paddle acts
as a locator light. When the connected load is off, the load
status LED will be on at a dim level. When the connected
load is turned on, the LED will increase in brightness. The
seven light level LEDs on the side of the dimmer show the current light level of the product. As the
user presses and holds the paddle the light level LEDs will act as a bar graph indicating the current
light level. For example when the connected load is on at 50% brightness, the four lower LEDs will be illuminated. When the connected
load is off, one light level LED will be illuminated showing the preset light level.
Caution: To avoid overheating and possible damage to other equipment, do not use to control receptacles or motor-driven appliances.
Important Notes
1. Do not mix different load types on the same dimmer.
2. Do not use with fluorescent ballasts other than those listed.

La instalación debe estar a cargo de un electricista certificado u otra
persona calificada.
ADVERTENCIA. Para evitar una fuerte descarga eléctrica o la
electrocución, siempre desconecte el suministro eléctrico en el panel
de servicio antes de instalar esta unidad, trabajar en el circuito o
cambiar una lámpara.
PRECAUCIÓN. Para reducir el riesgo de sobrecalentamiento y
posibles daños a otros equipos, no instale el atenuador incandescente
para controlar un receptáculo, una luz o una bombilla fluorescentes, un
aparato accionado por motor o un aparato con transformador.
• No utilice el atenuador con lámparas incandescentes cuyos
requisitos de potencia superen la potencia máxima (expresada en
vatios) del atenuador.
• No conecte el atenuador a una fuente de alimentación que sea
distinta de 120 V CA y 60 Hz solamente.
• Se requiere una carga mínima de 25 W.
• Use solamente cables de cobre.
