Operation

6.1

Sensor range

One sensor covers a radius of 5 m. Several wireless movement sensors are
required in larger rooms or rooms with many angles.
6.2

Test mode (movement test)

- To start the test mode, the wireless movement sensor "BWM-C
F" has to be fully charged.
- The test mode remains active for 3 minutes.
Use the movement test to check the detected sensor range.
1. Press the test button (see illustr. 1 on page 22) for 5 seconds.
2. The red LED in the test button flashes. The movement test is active.
3. Move in- and outside of the sensor range to check its limits.
4. The red LED in the test button and the red LED at the movement sensor
flash once a movement is detected by the sensor.
5. Press the "teach in" and configuration button for 5 seconds to terminate
the test.

Optical display of movement

In the factory setting, the detection of a movement is not displayed optically.
Change setting
f Press the "teach in" and configuration button for 3 seconds.
The green LED in the "teach in" and configuration button flashes
once after 3 seconds.
Z If the green LED in the "teach in" and configuration button now flashes 3
times, the red LED at the movement sensor flashes each time flashes a
movement is detected.
Z If, however, the red LED in the test button flashes three times, the red LED
in the movement sensor does not flash when a movement is detected.
