Congratulations on your decision to purchase the Aquakit Hotel's
ensemble.
This handbook contains the necessary instructions to ensure that
the Aquakit Hotel's is fitted correctly.
Installation must be completed by an authorised fitter and in
accordance with existing regulations.
MATERIAL AND TOOLS REQUIRED FOR
FITTING
- 2 hoses with 1/2" male-female threaded terminals.
- Drill with bit for a size 8 wall plug.
- Normal screwdriver.
- Allen key no. 4.
- Allen key no. 5.
If the unit is to be fitted in a corner, it will be necessary to purchase
the Corner installation set for Aquakit Hotel's 1600 (ref. 2H0131000),
which includes the specific components for fitting in this position.
Depending on where the wall connections are situated, two 1/2"
elbows will also be required.
Minimum ceiling height: see figures 1 and 2.
The maximum dynamic pressure for the Aquakit Hotel's unit is 5
bar, and the minimum pressure 2 bar.

PRELIMINARIES

Check the space available before fitting the Aquakit Hotel's above
a shower tray or bath (see figures 1 and 2).
The area of wall where the column is to be fitted must be completely
finished, and it should not have borders or projections of any kind.
It is very important to check the position of the pipes prior to fitting,
and if necessary they can be moved a few centimetres.

WATER HEATERS

ACCUMULATOR TANKS:

If an accumulator tank of less than 100 litres is to be used, it is
recommended that the thermostat is turned up to the highest
possible temperature, for otherwise the hydromassage with hot
water will only last a few minutes. For safety reasons, a temperature
of 60 degrees centigrade must not be exceeded.

INSTANT HEATERS:

If an instant heater or combination boiler is to be used, these must
guarantee the pressures and consumption indicated. If the output
power is less than 20,000 Kcal/hour, it is possible that the
temperature will not be maintained during certain functions.
As with all tap systems, there may be temperature variations when
a low volume of hot water is required and it is not sufficient to keep
the boiler or heater in operation. When this happens, the effect
can be reduced by lowering the trigger temperature of the boiler
or heater to a level that is slightly higher than the desired value.
MIXED SYSTEMS WITH AN INSTANT HEATER AND AN
ACCUMULATOR TANK:
This is the recommended system, with a tank volume of no less
than 50 litres.

FITTING THE COLUMN

The Aquakit Hotel's 1600 column (ref. 2H0133000) includes
the necessary elements for fitting on a flat wall. If the unit has
to be fitted in a corner, some additional components are
required, and these are supplied in the Corner installation set
for Aquakit Hotel's 1600 (ref. 2H0131000).
Make the corresponding marks on the wall for the position of the
support braces, as indicated in Fig. 1 and 2, depending on whether
the unit is to be fitted on a flat wall or in a corner.
The braces must be vertically aligned with the shower tray or bath.
Drill into the wall at the points marked using the bit for a size 8 wall
plug (Fig. 1 and 2).
For installation on a flat wall, fit the upper and lower attachment
supports, as shown in Fig. 3 using the size 8 wall plugs and size 6
screws supplied with the Aquakit Hotel´s.
The Corner Installation set for Aquakit Hotel's 1600 (ref.
2H0131000) includes 2 angle brackets and 2 additional supports
to be fastened to the wall by means of size 8 wall plugs and size
6 screws (Fig. 4).
In the event that fitting is difficult due to the irregular surface of the
wall, use may be made of the supplementary washers provided,
which separate the supports from the wall slightly.
The upper and lower wall supports are positioned on the
supplementary supports for corner installation and they are secured
by means of screws M6x20. (Fig. 4, Zoom 2 y 3).
Connect the hoses to the corresponding water inlets of the Aquakit
Hotel's fittings.
Suspend the Aquakit Hotel's by the upper part, so that the upper/rear
part of the column fits on to the wall support. The column will be
supported and can be swung forward to allow the hoses to be
connected to the water inlets on the wall. Fig. 5 and Fig.6.
Once the column has been positioned and is ready for operation,
fit the hand shower with the flexible tubing and the corresponding
seals (all of which are supplied in the accessories box).
Fit the glass ledge, protecting it with the black plastic sheet where
it comes into contact with the metal support, and ensuring that the
sheet does not protrude at either side. The unit is fastened by
means of the headless screw supplied, with the help of Allen key
no. 4.
Finally, secure the column using the two M6 Allen screws provided
and two washers (See Fig. 6 - zoom 4). Allen key no. 5 will be
required for this purpose.
