General safety instructions

Intended use

• Only use the hairdryer to dry and style human head hair.

• For Household Use Only

User requirements

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced

physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless

they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a

person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do

not play with the appliance.

• Keep packaging away from children because it can pose a danger (danger of suffoca-

tion!).

• Keep the appliance out of reach of animals and protected against the effects of the

weather.

Danger! Electric shock due to damage to appliance/mains

► D o not use the appliance if it is not working correctly, if it is damaged or if it has

fallen into water. In order to avoid hazards, repairs may only be performed at an

authorised service centre or by specialists properly trained in the handling of

electrotechnical appliances, and using original spare parts.

► D o not use the appliance near bathtubs, showers or other waterfilled containers.

It should also not be used in areas of high humidity.

► I f the appliance is being used in a bathroom, disconnect from the mains

immediately after use because proximity to water presents a risk, even when the

appliance is switched off.

► A lways position or store electrical equipment where it cannot fall into water (e.g.

washbasin).

► I f you have wet hands, do not use the appliance and never connect it to or

disconnect it from the mains.

► N ever touch electrical equipment that has fallen into water and is connected to
