CHARGING THE BATTERY (FIG. 1&2)
The battery (6) must be charged before first
use. Only after several charge and discharge
cycles the battery will attain full capacity.
C onnect the mains adapter to the charger.
I nsert the mains adapter in the wall socket.
R emove the battery from the machine.
P lace the battery for (6) hours in the charger.
The red charging indicator lights when the
battery is charged.
POSITIONING AND REMOVING A DRILL OR
SCREW BIT (FIG. 3)
This tool is equipped with a keyless chuck (4).
O pen the chuck by turning the sleeve (5).
I nsert the drill or screw bit in the chuck.
C lose the chuck by firmly tightening the sleeve
(5) while holding the rear part of the chuck with
the other hand.
I n order to remove the drill or screw bit
proceed in reverse order.
Before positioning or
removing a drill or screw
bit always remove the
battery from the machine.
FORWARD/REVERSE SWITCH (FIG. 4)
P ush the forward/reverse switch (2) to the left
to drill holes and fasten screws.
P ush the forward/reverse switch (2) to the
right to loosen screws.
Always wait until the motor
has come to a complete
standstill before changing
the direction of rotation.
ADJUSTING THE TORQUE (FIG. 5)
This machine has been fitted with an adjustable
coupling to limit the torque when
tightening screws.
T urn the adjustment collar (3) clockwise to
reduce the torque and counterclockwise to
increase the torque. The correct setting
depends on the type and size of the screw and
the work piece.
I n case of doubt, start with the lowest setting
and increase the torque until you
have reached the desired result.
B efore drilling you turn the adjustment collar
fully counterclockwise (to the drilling symbol)
SWITCHING ON AND OFF (FIG. 5)
P ress the on/off switch (1) to switch on the
machine.
R elease the on/off switch (1) to switch off the
machine.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The machine does not require any special
maintenance.
R egularly clean the ventilation slots.
