When using the machine, always observe the
enclosed safety instructions as well as
the additional safety instructions.

R emove the battery from the machine during
maintenance and when the machine will not be
used for a longer period of time.
O nly use the prescribed type of battery (see
the technical data).
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHARGER
AND BATTERY
R ead the general instructions and safety
instructions carefully before charging the
battery.
O nly use the prescribed charger to load the
battery. Do not charge batteries of another type
with this charger.
O nly use the charger in a dry environment at a
temperature between 10 °C and 40 °C.
D o not use the charger when it has been
damaged.
O nly have the charger and battery repaired by
an authorized repair agent.
P revent the battery from short circuiting. Make
sure that the battery connections cannot touch
metal objects.
D o not store the battery where the
temperature may rise above 50 °C, e.g. in a car
which has been parked in the sun.
D o not burn the battery.

N ever attempt to open the battery.
I n case of skin contact of the battery fluid
(a solution of 25-30% potassium
hydroxide), flush immediately with
abundant water. Neutralize with a mild acid
such as lemon juice or vinegar. In case of
eye contact, rinse abundantly for 10 minutes
with clean water and consult a physician.

BATTERY
The following pictograms have been applied to
the charger and battery:
Do not incinerate battery.
Do not expose charger and
battery to temperatures above
40 °C.
Do not expose charger and
battery to water.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Always check that the battery power
corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
Also make sure that the voltage of your charger
corresponds to that of your mains.
