Always unplug the device before cleaning! Never submerge power supply cord and housing base
in water, wipe it with a dry cloth. The outer side of the device can be wiped with a wet cloth.
Decalcification
Depending on use and the degree of hardness of tap water used, lime deposits can be formed
in evaporator section at the bottom. To ensure proper function of the device, lime rims should be
regularly removed.
nOTe:
We recommend to clean small lime deposits using household vinegar as described below. For
masive deposits, commercially available lime solvents should be used - it is important to observe
manufacturer's instructions.
Descaling with clear vinegar: Mix 100 ml hot water with 100 ml vinegar, then pour it into the
evaporator part at the bottom. Leave to soak for ca. 30 minutes, then empty it. Rinse and wipe
subsequently with wet cloth.
