BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Open the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert 6 pcs. LR14 type batteries in to the battery compartment. Be sure to insert the batteries
according to the polarity markers in het compartment.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
4. The unit is now ready for operation.
NOTE: The battery circuit is disconnected automatically when the AC cord is inserted into the AC
INPUT socket. Remove all the batteries from the battery compartment when the unit is no longer
operated by batteries.
PLAYING A DISC
This unit is capable of playing standard CDs or 8 cm single discs: an adapter is required.
1. Set FUNCTION selector to CD position.
2. Open the CD compartment.
3. Insert a CD disc in to the CD compartment.
4. Close the CD compartment. The total number of tracks will be displayed and the CD player will
stop. If a disc is inserted incorrectly, dirty, damaged or not present at all, the CD display will show -
and the CD player will stop.
5. Press PLAY/PAUSE button to begin playback.
6. Press STOP button to stop.
PAUSE
This disc can be paused at any time during playback by pressing the PLAY/PAUSE button once. The
track number indicator will flash. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button again to continue.
REPEAT PLAY FUNCTION
This function allows the same track or all tracks to be played repeatedly.
1. To repeat the SAME track, press the REPEAT button ONCE during playback. 'REPEAT 1' will
illuminate on the display and the current track will play continuously.
2. To repeat ALL tracks, press the REPEAT button TWICE during play mode. 'REPEAT ALL' will
illuminate on the display and all tracks will replay continuously.
