VTLAMP5W – LAMP WITH MAGNIFYING GLASS

This powerful magnifying glass (3 & 10 dioptre) is ideal for precision work. It can be placed in any position thanks to
the long flexible arm (31cm). This lamp features a heavy base for maximum stability and a circular fluorescent lamp
with low power consumption.
2. Replace the Lamp
Unplug the device and let the circular fluorescent lamp cool down before replacing it.
The lamp is located behind a plastic diffuser.
1. Gently bend the stem so that the diffuser points upwards.
2. Remove the 5 screws holding the plastic diffuser in place. Remove the diffuser carefully and make sure not to drop
the lamp.
3. Hold the lamp at the plastic ring and disconnect the lamp from the connector. Pull on the connector, not the
cables. Take out the defective lamp.
4. Install a new lamp (order code LAMP5W) and insert the connector.
5. Put the diffuser back and fasten the screws.
3. Beware
• Never leave the magnifying lens unattended where direct sunlight may pass through it: this creates a fire hazard.
• Use the lamp only indoors.
• If the power cable is damaged, have it replaced by your dealer.
• The only user-serviceable part is the lamp. Have a qualified person service the device should it become defective.
