Machine Details

ON/OFF switch for motor (51)
To turn the motor ON:
Press and hold the ON/OFF switch.
To turn the motor OFF:
Release the ON/OFF switch.
ON/OFF switch for cutting area
illumination (52)
Switch the lighting for the cutting area
on and off.
ON/OFF switch for laser guide (53)
Switch the laser guide on and off.

Bevel tilt setting
After the lock lever (54) at the rear has
been loosened the saw can be tilted
continously from 0° (vertical) through
45° to the left of vertical.

Caution!
To keep the bevel angle from changing
while sawing, the locking lever of the
track arm holder must be tightened.
Rotating table
After the lock screw (55) has been loos-
ened the rotating table can be adjusted.
This way the cutting angle is changed
against the guide edge of the work
piece. Angles up to 47 left and right are
possible.

The rotating table engages in positive
stops at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 30° and 45° po-
sitions.

Caution
To ensure that the mitre angle does not
change during cutting tighten the lock

screw (55) of the rotating table (also in
the preset positions!).

Initial Operation

7.1

Installing the chip bag

A
Danger!
Some types of wood dust (e.g. beech,
oak, ash) may cause cancer when in-
haled.
– Always work with the dust bag in-
stalled or a suitable dust collector
connected.
– In addition, use a dust respirator,
because the saw dust is not com-
pletely collected or extracted re-
spectively.
– Empty the chip bag periodically.
Wear dust respirator when emptying
the chip bag.
When operating the machine with the
dust bag supplied:
Place the dust bag (58) on to the
dust extraction port (56). Make sure
the zipper (57) on the dust bag is
closed.

When operating the machine with a
dust collector connected:
Use a suitable adaptor for connect-
ing the dust collector.
Make sure the dust extractor meets
the requirements specified in the
section "Technical Specifications".
Also follow the operating instruc-
tions supplied with the dust collec-
tor!
7.2

Installing the work clamp

The work clamp installs in two posi-
tions:
– For wide workpieces:
insert the work clamp into the rear
hole (60) in the table and secure
with the lock bolt (61):
