BEFORE FIRST USE

• Before using the appliance for the first time, you should carefully clean the lid,
milling container and blade.
• Please make sure that the appliance is not connected to the power.
• Lift the lid off.
• Turn the milling container in a counterclockwise
direction to remove it from the appliance base.
Caution: Grab the container on the outside or on
the upper edge and avoid any contact with the
blade!
• Clean the container with the blade and the lid in
warm dishwater, using a soft towel or brush. Use
a dry towel to carefully dry the container inside,
outside and bottom. The container and blade
should be completely dry on the inside, outside and
bottom before you fill coffee beans resp. use the
appliance. The same applies for the lid.
• Wipe the appliance base clean with a slightly wet
towel.
• Place the dry milling container back in the appliance base and fasten it by tur-
ning it in a clockwise direction (Caution: do not touch the blade!) to lock it into
place.
