WARNINGS
TOXIC EFFECTS:
- Do not paint the smoke detector!
- The installation of your smoke detector is only a stage in your program of safety(security).
- It is important to evacuate at once the house in case of release of the alarm of the detector
of Smoked, by considering that the alarm bustled further to the detection of a real fi re(light).
CAUTION :
- The detector must be frequently tested to make sure that is working properly.
- A detector located far from a bedroom will not wake up a heavy sleeper.
- The consumption of alcohol, as well as some medication or drugs can alter a person's ability to hear the
alarm.
- For maximum protection, you must install a detector in every room where people sleep, and on every
fl oor of the building.
- Although the detector can save lives, it does not exempt the owner and tenants from taking out suitable
insurance for themselves and their property.
- This device detects only fi res and smoke. It is not used to detect the carbon monoxide or another gas.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries. Only use the batteries indicated in this manual.
- The device does not in any way eliminate the need to install, use and maintain suitable ventilation
and evacuation systems.
WARRANTY :
- This detector is guaranteed against all manufacturing faults for 2 years after the purchase date.
- In the event of a manufacturing fault, and for the period of the warranty, SCS Sentinel will replace the
product upon presentation of the sales slip.
- The device is placed in the custody of the user, the MCS responsablility Sentinel can be sought at some
tracks whatsoever, if not previously demonstrated that the device was used according to requirements
its use.
- Please contact an experienced person if you have any doubts about the safety or operation of the
devices.
WASTE DISPOSAL :
- Do not throw away batteries, discarded equipment and packaging with household waste.
- Use selective refuse collection facilities.
- During installation, keep all packaging away from children and animals. It could be dangerous.
