Routine Maintenance

It is important that you keep your machine clean and in good working order. This
will prolong the overall life of the machine and result in improved productivity from
your system. You should perform the following tasks regularly.
Cleaning Model DL400
1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the Upper Transport Cover.
3. Remove and empty the Chip Bin.
4. Vacuum loose paper chips and debris from the machine.
5. Use a cloth moistened with liquid cleaner to wipe down the exterior of the machine.
NOTE: When cleaning glass and plastic surfaces, use detergent-based cleaners.
These are recommended because they do not cause component degradation.
6. Wipe dust and dirt from the sensors. Debris build-up can cause machine
stoppages or prevent sensors from working correctly.
7. Replace the Chip Bin and Upper Transport Cover.
DANGER! Cleaning any internal part of the system whilst the system is in
operation or connected via the power cord can result in serious personal
injury. Always ensure the system is disconnected before proceeding with
maintenance.
