1. Safety instructions
•
Read this manual carefully before use.
•
Only connect this scale to 110-120
VAC 60hz current.
•
Before using the scale for the first
time, charge the battery for 12 hours.
•
When the battery is low, the low
voltage indicator will appear.
•
Recharge the battery immediately when
necessary in order to preserve the
battery life.
•
During charge, the charge signal will
become red. When the signal changes
to green, the battery is fully charged.
•
Don't discharge the battery in order to
protect the battery.
•
Before storing the scale for a long
period of time, remember to charge
the battery every three months.
2. To turn the scale ON or OFF
ON With no load on the platform, switch
on the power button which is under
the right front of the scale. Press
"ON/TARE" on the front of the scale. All
segments on the indicator will turn on
and will count down. When the display
is "0.000", you can start weighing.
OFF To turn the scale off, there are two
options:
•
Press and hold the "OFF/MODE"
key on the front of the scale until
"OFF" is displayed.
•
Press the power button which is
under the right front of the scale.
3. Weighing. weighing modes and TARE.
•
The KSB series scales work in 2
weighing modes, kg and lb. To toggle
between the kg mode, the lb. mode and
the count (CON) mode, simply press
the MODE key repeatedly.
•
When the scale is ON and the display
is at "0.000", place the object to be
weighed on the center of the platform.
When the "kg" or "lb" symbol stops
flashing, the reading is stable and the
displayed weight can be read.
•
To TARE is the action of removing the
weight of an object from the display
while maintaining the object itself on
the platter. The scale will display "0".
This is most commonly used when the
operator wishes to remove the weight
of the container from the calculation
of the weight of the objects being
weighed.
•
Put the container on the platter,

•

2. Activer / désactiver la balance
MARCHE
Enlever tout objet du plateau et
appuyer sur l'interrupteur situé sous
la balance, en avant à droite. Presser
la touche « ON/TARE » sur le devant
de la balance. Tous les segments de
d'afficheur s'allument et comptent
à rebours. Quand l'afficheur indique
« 0.000 », la balance est prête pour
peser.
ARRÊT
La balance peut être mise hors fonction
de deux façons :
•
Presser et maintenir la touche
« OFF/MODE » sur le devant de la
balance jusqu'à ce que l'afficheur
indique « OFF ».
•
Appuyer sur l'interrupteur situé
sous la balance, en avant à droite.
3. Modes de pesage et tarage.
•
Les balances de la série KSB offrent
deux unités de pesage (kg et lb) et un
mode de comptage. Pour alterner entre
les modes kg, lb et comptage (CON), il
suffit d'appuyer sur la touche MODE.
•
Alors que la balance est en fonction et
que l'afficheur montre « 0.000 », placer
l'objet à peser au centre du plateau.
Quand le symbole « kg » ou « lb » cesse
de clignoter, la pesée est stabilisée et
le poids affiché peut être lu.
•
Le tarage est l'action de soustraire le
poids d'un objet posé sur le plateau,
par exemple pour ne pas tenir compte
du poids du contenant lors du pesage
d'un produit.

2. Encendido y apagado de la balanza
ON Sin que la bandeja esté cargada, pulse
el botón de puesta en marcha que está
debajo, a la derecha, del lado delantero
de la balanza. Pulse "ON/TARE" en el
panel frontal de la balanza. Todos los
sectores del indicador se activarán y
se iniciará la cuenta atrás. Cuando vea
que está indicado "0.000", ya puede
empezar el pesaje.
OFF Para apagar la balanza tiene dos
opciones:
•
Mantenga pulsado el botón "OFF/
MODE" en el panel frontal de la
balanza hasta que aparezca "OFF".
•
Pulse el botón de puesta en
marcha que está debajo, a la
derecha, del lado delantero de la
balanza.
3. Pesaje, modos de pesaje y TARA
•
Las balanzas de la serie KSB tienen 2
modos de pesaje, en kilogramos y en
libras. Para elegir entre el modo kilos,
el modo libras y el modo de conteo
(CON), pulse repetidamente la tecla
MODE.
•
Cuándo la balanza esté encendida y la
pantalla muestre "0.000", coloque el
objeto que quiera pesar en el centro
de la bandeja. Cuando el símbolo "kg" o
"lb" deje de parpadear, la lectura será
estable y podrá leerse el peso.
•
TARAR es sustraer el peso de un
objeto de la lectura mientras el objeto
sigue estando en la bandeja. En la
