The standard adjustment of the feed and needle is such a state that the needle tip aligns with the throat
plate surface at the moment when the fi rst or the second tooth of the top end of feed dog starts descend-
ing from the throat plate surface turning the handwheel toward you with the scale dial set to 9 mm.
Follow the procedure described below to perform the standard adjustment.
1) Loosen setscrews 2 in the vertical driving cam.
2) Turn the vertical driving cam to the position where throat plate surface 3 and needle tip 4 align with
each other, and the fi rst or the second tooth of the top end of feed dog 5 descends from the throat
plate surface. Then fi x the vertical driving cam in place. At this time, be careful that the vertical driv-
ing cam does not slip in the lateral direction. (If it slips, sewing machine torque may occur.) After this
adjustment, loosen setscrews 1 in the feed driving cam, and align marker dot A on the feed driving
cam with marker dot A on the vertical driving cam, and fi x the feed driving cam. Also, at this time, be
careful that the feed driving cam does not slip in the lateral direction.
(Reference for standard adjustment)
Three points of screws No. 1 in the vertical driving cam and the feed driving cam, and screw No. 2 in
the upper bevel gear 6 are nearly aligned.
(Simplifi ed adjustment procedure)
It is possible to adjust by only removing the rubber plug on the machine arm surface without removing
the window plate as shown in the fi gure.
Im Zustand der Standardeinstellung von Transport und Nadel erreicht die Spitze der Nadel in dem Mo-
ment die Oberfl äche der Stichplatte, wenn der erste oder zweite Zahn an der Oberkante des Transport-
eurs sich unter die Oberfl äche der Stichplatte zu senken beginnt, während Sie das Handrad bei Einstel-
lung des Skalenrads auf 9 mm auf sich zu drehen.
Wenden Sie das folgende Verfahren an, um die Standardeinstellung durchzuführen.
1) Die Befestigungsschrauben 2 im Vertikalantriebsnocken lösen.
2) Den Vertikalantriebsnocken zu der Position drehen, an der die Stichplattenoberfl äche 3 und die Spi-
tze der Nadel 4 aufeinander ausgerichtet sind und der erste oder zweite Zahn an der Oberkante des
Transporteurs 5 sich unter die Stichplattenoberfl äche senkt. Dann den Vertikalantriebsnocken festzie-
hen. Dabei ist darauf zu achten, dass der Vertikalantriebsnocken nicht in Querrichtung verrutscht. (Falls
er verrutscht, kann eine Drehkraft an der Nähmaschine auftreten.) Nach dieser Einstellung die Befesti-
gungsschrauben 1 im Transportantriebsnocken lösen, den Markierungspunkt A am Transportantrieb-
snocken auf den Markierungspunkt A am Vertikalantriebsnocken ausrichten, und den Transportant-
riebsnocken festziehen. Dabei ist ebenfalls darauf zu achten, dass der Transportantriebsnocken nicht
in Querrichtung verrutscht.
(Referenz für Standardeinstellung)
Die drei Punkte der Schrauben Nr. 1 im Vertikalantriebsnocken und Transportantriebsnocken sowie
der Schraube Nr. 2 im oberen Kegelrad 6 sind nahezu gefl uchtet.
(Vereinfachtes Einstellverfahren)
Es ist möglich, die Einstellung nur durch Entfernen des Gummistopfens an der Maschinenarmober-
fl äche durchzuführen, ohne die Fensterplatte zu entfernen, wie in der Abbildung gezeigt.

1) Desserrer les vis de fi xation 2 de la came de commande verticale.
2) Tourner la came de commande verticale sur la position où la surface de la plaque à aiguille 3 et
Pointe de l'aiguille 4 sont en regard et où la première ou la seconde dent supérieure de la griffe d'en-
traînement 5 descend depuis la surface de la plaque à aiguille. Fixer ensuite la came de commande
verticale en place. Veiller alors à ce que la came de commande verticale ne glisse pas latéralement. (Si
elle glisse, le couple de la machine risque d'être anormal.) Après ce réglage, desserrer les vis de fi xa-
tion 1 de la came de commande d'entraînement et aligner le point de repère A de la came de com-
mande d'entraînement sur le point de repère A de la came de commande verticale, puis fi xer la came
de commande d'entraînement. Veiller alors également à ce que la came de commande d'entraînement
