START-UP GUIDE
This section explains how to use your new walkie-talkies. It is recommended to read the
complete user guide for detailed instructions and safety warnings.
1 Take out the belt-clip from each walkie-talkie. To do so, push the belt-clip upwards
while lifting the latch.
Insert 1 x 6LR61 battery (not included) in each walkie-talkie. The battery

compartment is located at the back of the unit. Put back the belt-clip on each
walkie-talkie.
To turn the walkie-talkies on, move the HI/LOW/OFF switch to the "HI" or "LOW"

position. In "LOW" position, the volume of the walkie-talkies is low, whereas it is
high when set to the "HI" position.
Press the TALK button, and talk to the other user. Release the key to listen to

the other end. Note: it is recommended to use the walkie-talkies from a distance
between 1.5 and 100 metres and in a flat open area.
Press the Morse key to create light messages for your secret contact. Do not forget

to direct the light beam to the person you wish to send a message to. Please refer
to the Morse code table on page 2 to compose your light messages. Short press the
Morse key to make a dot (.) and long press the same key to make a dash (-).
