3.2. Filling up hydraulic oil (only if necessary)

It is possible to refill hydraulic oil in the bender HY-TELL after 10'000 or more usages.
Notice
The addition of hydraulic oil should be carried out at a suitable location, as it is
possible that the oil might be spilled during re-filling and bleeding process.
Approach
1. Secure the HY-TELL head-on in a bench vise or otherwise.
2. Unscrew the three screws under the oil reservoir and remove carefully the lid.
3. Remove carefully stuffing (just plugged) from oil reservoir to avoid spilling oil.
4. Top up hydraulic oil until the container is full. Hydraulic oil ISO-HV-15 is
recommended for optimal performance.
5. Use the HY-TELL several times with an open reservoir and relax again so that the
air can escape from the oil.
6. If the air escapes, the fluid level may decrease. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until the
fluid level no longer decreases.
7. Close the Reservoir with stuffing well.
8. Reattach the lid from the oil reservoir with the three screws.
9. Clean the device of hydraulic oil.
