Cleaning

ATTENTION!
■ Burn hazard associated with hot parts! Let the appliance cool off each time before
you clean it.
■ Attention: Risk to life due to electrical shock! Prior to each cleaning, pull the plug out
of the socket. Never submerge the appliance, the mains cord, and the plug in water.
Never touch the appliance, the mains cord or the mains plug with wet hands.
■ Do not spray any cleaners directly on the appliance.
■ Do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners or cleaning pads to clean the appliance.
They could damage the surface. Do not use any metallic objects.
• Remove all leftover food from the grate and baking sheet and rinse off both parts with
a mild detergent and warm water each time after using the appliance. You can also
clean the grate and baking sheet in the dishwasher.
• If you want to clean the housing of the appliance and the heating elements, wipe
them off with a clean, damp cloth.
• Allow all parts to dry completely before you store them in a clean, dry place that is not
accessible for children and animals.

Troubleshooting

If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself fi rst.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!

Potential cause / solution
• Has the TIMER dial been turned on?
• With a desired time of 10 minutes or lower: Did you turn
the TIMER dial past the 10 minute mark before setting
the desired time?
• Is the plug properly connected with the socket?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse for your mains connection.
• Has the operating switch MODE been turned to the OFF
position?
• Extend the baking time by adjusting the TIMER dial.
• If necessary, vary by activating top and bottom heat.
