• Keep a suffi cient distance from heat sourc-
es, e.g. hobs or ovens.
• Before connecting the device, unwind the
mains cord completely.
• Always allow the device to cool off complete-
ly before you stow it.
Handling the device properly
• Only use the device in enclosed areas.
• Only connect the device to a properly in-
stalled socket. The socket must also be easily
accessible after the device has been connect-
ed. The mains voltage must correspond to the
data on the nameplate of the device. Only use
proper extension cords, whose technical data
correspond to those of the device.
• Check the device for damages prior to each
use. The device may not be used if it, the
mains cord or plug exhibit visible damages.
Do not use the device if it malfunctions, has
fallen down or in water.
• If the device is defective, do not attempt to
repair the device, the mains cord or the plug
yourself. Electrical equipment may only be
