Menu Operation

Configuring the Sound menu

• Sound Mode
Select a sound mode to achieve ideal sound.
Press ◄/►buttons to select. (Available Sound
mode: Standard / Music / Movie/ User).
NOTE:
 The Bass and Treble setting are only available
in User mode, you can adjust as you like.
• Bass
You can adjust the bass effect by increasing or
decreasing lower-pitched sounds.
• Treble
You can adjust the treble effect by increasing or
decreasing high-pitched sounds.
• Balance
Adjust the balance between left and right
speakers to adapt to your listening position.
• Surround
You can set the surround sound on or off.
• AVL
You can set the AVL (Automatic Volume Limiting) option on or off.
Because each broadcasting station has its own signal conditions, volume adjustment
may be needed every time when the channel is changed. This feature allows users to
enjoy stable volume levels by making automatic adjustments.
• Digital Audio Output
You can select a desired Digital Audio Output mode: Off, Auto or PCM.
• Audio Description (In DTV mode)
Audio description refers to an additional narration track for blind and visually impaired
viewers of visual media, including television and movies. You can use this feature,
only if the broadcaster supports that additional narration track.
Press the▲/▼buttons to select Audio Description, then press the ENTER /►button to
enter sub-menu in the DTV source. You can open the audio description and adjust the
Mixing Level.
