• To disconnect the unit completely from the mains, pull
the mains plug from the socket.
NOTE:
If no button is pressed within 6 hours, the appliance will
automatically switch to standby mode.
Volume
By pressing the VOL+/VOL- buttons (1/10) you can adjust the
desired volume.
Infrared Remote Control
For wireless control within a distance of 5 m. If the distance
decreases you should change the batteries. For proper
operation mind a clear view between the remote control and
the sensor on the device.
Sound Settings
• Use the BASS buttons (12) to adjust the bass settings.
• Use the TREBLE buttons (11) to adjust the treble settings.
NOTE:
• If necessary, change the EQ setting in your playback
unit to create the best sound.
• The treble and bass settings will be reset to "00", when
the appliance is disconnected from the power supply.
MUTE (2 on the remote control)
For immediate muting of the volume. "MUTE" is flashing in
the display. Press MUTE again to cancel the function.
SLEEP (7 on the remote control)
When the device is switched on, you can set the time after
which the device will turn into standby mode; set the time in
10 minutes intervals from 90 to 10 minutes. The device will
turn off automatically after the preset time.
1. Press the button. The notification "90" will appear in the
display.
2. Press the button repeatedly to reduce the time in steps
of 10.
To call up the still remaining time, press the button briefly.
NOTE:
• The display showing "SLEEP" indicates that the func-
tion is activated.
• Choosing the OFF setting will deactivate the function.
Radio mode
1.
Fully uncoil the wire antenna. Repeatedly press the
SOURCE button (2/1), until "TUNER" is shown on the
display.
2. Manual scan for radio stations:
Shortly press the
FM/
(9 on the remote control) until you have found the desired
(7) or / TUNING buttons
radio station. Press and hold one of these buttons to start
searching until the next or previous radio station.
Direct frequency entry:
If you know the frequency of the radio station you can
enter it as follows.
• Enter the frequency with the number buttons (13) of
the remote control. If a wrong frequency has been
entered, the notification "ERROR" will appear in the
display.

If the reception is too weak and there is interference on
the received station, try to improve the reception by alter-
ing the position and uncoiling or coiling the antenna.
When receiving stations in stereo, the display will show
"STEREO". For FM stations, you can use the MO/ST
button (6 on the remote control) to switch between mono
and stereo reception. We recommend that you switch to
mono in case of bad reception.
Manually storing stations
1. Search for the desired radio station as described above
under point 2, "Manually scan for radio station".
2. Press the MEM button (14 on the remote control) to
preset the radio station.
3. Use the CH+/CH- buttons (5 on the remote control) to
select the preset position for storing the radio station.
4. Press the MEM button again. The radio station will be
stored.
Select the preset radio station
The preset radio stations can be selected by repeatedly
pressing the CH+/CH- button (5 on the remote control).
Playing back music files
You have two possibilities to play back your own music files
with the device: via cable connection or wireless via Blue-
tooth.
By cable (Cable not included in the scope of delivery)
The appliance is equipped with two connection possibilities
on the rear side: AUX IN or LINE IN.
1. Connect the external device as follows:
• By connecting a cinch cable (2x RCA) to the AUX IN
jacks.
• By connecting a 3.5 mm stereo cinch plug to the
LINE IN jack.
If necessary, use a suitable adapter (not included in the
scope of delivery).
2. Repeatedly press the SOURCE button (2/1) until "AUX or
LINE" is shown on the display.
3. Start the playback of your audio source. Listen to the
sound playback via the speaker. Use the VOL+/VOL- but-
tons (1/10) to adjust the volume.
4. For the further procedure, please refer to the user manual
of the external audio source.
