CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
-
Once finished, unplug and allow the
appliance to cool before cleaning.
-
Do not use any caustic cleaning agents
and make sure that no water penetrates
the device. (However, should there be
water on the electric connection, wait until
the appliance is completely dry before
using it anew).
-
To protect yourself from electric shock,
never immerse the device, its cables and
the plug in water or other liquids.
-
Wipe off the ceramic field with a damp
cloth or use a mild, non-abrasive soap
solution.
-
Wipe off the casing and the operating
panel with a soft cloth or a mild detergent.
Problem
Device does not
function, no indication
on the display.
There is a sound after
I have selected a
cooking function and
switched the device on.
The hob suddenly
switches off during
operation.
ERROR MESSAGES
Message
E0
Unsuitable cookware employed.
Cookware not placed at the centre.
No cookware placed on the appliance.
E1
IGBT open or short-circuit.

Do not use any petrol products: avoid
damaging the plastic parts and the casing/
operating panel.

Do not use any flammable, acidy or
alkaline materials or substances near the
device, as this may reduce the service life
of the device and lead to deflagration when
the device is turned on.

Make sure that the bottom of the cookware
does not scrape across the surface of the
ceramic field.
-
Make sure that the device was properly
cleaned before storing it in a dry place.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Common issues:
Causes
You put no or an unsuitable pot
on the hob.
(Note: For safety reasons,
the device automatically
switches to the standby mode
after a few seconds).
The overheating protection
(automatic shut-off) has been
activated.
The ventilation slots are
obstructed.
Causes
Solutions
Check the mains
connection
Put a pot on the hob
that is suitable for
induction hobs.
Pull the plug and let the
device cool down for about
20 min. Then start
operating the device again.
Free the ventilation slots
from any obstructions.
Solutions
Check whether a suitable pot/pan
is being used.
Make sure that the pot/pan is
placed at the centre of the
appliance.
Check whether the ventilation is
being obstructed.
The temperature sensor
underneath the glass ceramic
plate may be defective. Please
send back to Customer Service.
