5.2. Starting
If the system features a nonreturn valve on the delivery, the
water level, even with the pump stopped, must never be allowed
to drop below the holes in the suction grid, or the pump will be
drained of water. This leads to pump priming problems, even
after the normal level has been restored.
TDN1200 versions feature a small amount of oil (the food kind),
which does not present a source of health risk.
TDN1200 motor-driven pumps can be supplied with a float on
application.

Version with float
Plug into the power mains and/or turn on with the switch: the
motor-driven pump starts working. Once the pump has sucked
in enough water to reach the minimum level ("OFF" level),
regulated by the float, it will turn off automatically.
The float's working position is factory set so as to assure a
minimum suction level in the "OFF" position.
Version without float
Plug into the power mains and/or turn on with the switch: the
motor-driven pump starts working. Once the pump has sucked
in enough water to reach the minimum level, unplug from the
power mains and/or turn off with the switch.
