Montagehinweis bei der Über-
wachung von problematischen
Medien
Bei der Überwachung von schlecht wärme-
leitenden Medien (z. B. verschiedene Öle,
Flüssigkeiten mit hohem Feststoffanteil)
und in Prozessen mit schnellen Tempera-
turänderungen ist auf einen gerichteten
Einbau zu achten:
Bei Kompaktgeräten sollte der Stecker bzw.
die Kabelverschraubung rechtwinklig zur
Strömungsrichtung ausgerichtet werden.
Zusätzliche Hinweise für
die Montage von analogen
Strömungssensoren
Bei der Montage analoger Strömungssen-
soren ist auf einen gerichteten Einbau zu
achten.
Einstellhinweise
Schaltausgang
Abgleich bei ruhendem Medium:
1. Sensor in den Strömungskanal einbau-
en, das Gerät einschalten und Bereit-
schaftszeit abwarten.
2. Potenziometer so einstellen, dass die
rote LED gerade aufleuchtet.
3. Beim Einsetzen der Strömung sollte
mindestens eine grüne LED leuchten.
Abgleich bei strömenden Medium:
1. Sensor in den Strömungskanal einbau-
en, Strömung vorgeben und das Gerät
einschalten. Bereitschaftszeit abwar-
ten.
2. Potenziometer so einstellen, dass eine
oder zwei grüne LEDs leuchten.
3. Beim Ausfall der Strömung muss nun
die rote LED leuchten.

Mounting instructions when
monitoring problematic media
When monitoring media with a low thermal
conductivity (e. g. some kinds of oils, liquids
with high solid content) and in processes
where rapid changes of temperature occur,
the sensor position with regard to the flow
direction must be observed:
With self-contained devices the connector
or the cable connector must be positioned
in right angles to the flow direction.

When installing analog flow sensors, a cer-
tain mounting position must be observed.

How to adjust the switching
output
Adjustment with medium at rest:
1. Install the sensor in the flow channel,
switch on the device and wait until the
standby time has elapsed.
2. Adjust the potentiometer until the red
LED just starts to light up.
3. At least one green LED should light
when the flow starts.
Adjustment with flowing medium:
1. Install the sensor in the flow channel,
set the flow and switch on the device.
Wait until the standby time has elapsed.
2. Set the potentiometer so that one or
two green LEDs light up.
3. As soon as the flow stops the red LED
must now light.

Lors du contrôle de fluides ayant une mau-
vaise conductivité thermique (p. ex. dif-
férentes huiles, liquides à forte teneur en
matières solides) et dans des processus avec
des variations de température rapides il est
nécessaire de respecter les instructions de
montage suivantes:
Le connecteur ou le presse-étoupe des
appareils compacts doit être aligné per-
pendiculairement par rapport au sens
d'écoulement.

Lors du montage de détecteurs de débit
analogiques, un montage orienté est à res-
pecter.

Réglage en cas de milieu statique:
1. Monter le détecteur dans le tuyau, en-
clencher l'appareil et attendre la durée
de stabilisation avant indication.
2. Régler le potentiomètre de manière
que la LED rouge s'allume.
3. Dès que le milieu commence à couler,
au moins une LED verte doit s'allumer.
Réglage en cas de milieu circulant:
1. Monter le détecteur dans le tuyau,
programmer le débit et enclencher
l'appareil. Attendre le la durée de stabi-
lisation avant indication.
2. Régler le potentiomètre de manière
qu'une ou deux LED vertes s'allument.
3. En cas d'arrêt du débit, seule la LED
rouge doit s'allumer.
