NSTALLATION
The producer declines all responsibility if the
equipment is tampered with.
2.1
S
ELECTING THE CORRECT POSITION
Select the position where you want to install the
scoreboard; the board should be installed high
enough to prevent possible contusions (due to sharp
edges) or attempts at vandalism, but not too high to
inhibit proper maintenance.
Check to make sure that the wall is strong
enough to support the weight of the scoreboard
and that the dowels are suitable for the type of
wall and environment (e.g., possible corrosion due to
dampness). Consult a professional in the field.
To avoid injuries such as bruises, scrapes, or
cuts while handling the scoreboard, we advise
wearing protective gloves and safety shoes.
The keyboard cable can be lengthened simply by
means of two-wire cable.
2.2
P
OWER SWITCH AND SOCKET
Each scoreboard comes with a power cord and plug.
To turn the scoreboard on and off easily, we suggest
that a power supply socket be positioned just to the
side of the scoreboard.
2.3
P
OWER SWITCH DEVICE
There MUST be a power switch device
(isolating switch) in the electrical system in
order to switch off the scoreboard when it is not
being used or while under maintenance. The power
switch device must:
• conform with federal/state installation regulations;
• be a double pole type to ensure separation
between Line and Neutral;
• have a distance between contacts which ensures
the complete disconnection of the power supply
network under conditions of overvoltage category II;
• be easily accessible.
At any rate, we suggest placing an automatic residual
current circuit breaker with overload protection
front of the scoreboard which has:
• a tripping current that complies with regulations in
force (30mA) of type A,
• a type C thermal instantaneous tripping current,
• 230Vac nominal voltage,
• 6A nominal current,
• ≥4.5kA breaking capacity.
2.4
G
ROUNDING
The scoreboard MUST be connected to a
grounding system via the power supply cable
and
in
compliance
regulations of the country where it is installed.

O
PERATION
Turn the scoreboard on and off with the [ON/OFF]
button.
The two [+1] buttons increase the respective scores
(red or green).
To decrease, press the [—] button first.
To zero press the [MISE A ZERO] buttons.
The scoreboard can function in two ways:
• WAY1: when a score is inserted, it is immediately
calculated;
• WAY2: when one or more scores are inserted,
these flash for 2 seconds and then they are
calculated.
To pass from WAY1 to WAY2 and viceversa, you
must keep the [—] key pressed for approx. 5
seconds. WAY2 can be useful to point out the
scoring.

Every scoreboard can work with only one remote
control at a time. To tune in a scoreboard with a
remote control: stand in front of the scoreboard and
keep pressed the [ON-OFF] button on the remote
control until the scoreboard turns on and off at least 6
times. This operation takes about 20 seconds. If there
are other scoreboards in the same room while tuning,
block their reception of the remote control or remove
their plugs.
