4. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• The warning triangle indicates all instructions, which are important for safety. Always follow these, otherwise you could
injure yourself or damage the device.
• Children may not play with the device.
• Cleaning and user maintenance may not be carried out by children without supervision.
• Do not treat packaging material carelessly. This may become a dangerous plaything for a child!
• Only use this product for its designated purpose!
• Do not manipulate or disassemble the device!
• For your own safety, only use accessories and spare parts that are stated in these instructions or that are recommended
by the manufacturer!
• Do not operate a damaged or defective device. This also applies to the connection cable.
• Do not connect a device with a performance that exceeds the maximum performance of the voltage converter.
• Permanent operation may result in a rapid discharge of the battery. For this reason, limit the operating time according
to the power drawn.
• Make sure that the air vents of the voltage converter are free and that there is sufficient air circulation.
• Before each use, check the firm seating of the pole callipers and the secure connection of the screw connections of the
connection cable.
• If you hear a „humming" or discover rapid heating of the connected device, immediately switch off the voltage converter
and the connected device and disconnect the device cables.
• Operate the voltage converter only in a dry environment. Never allow water to touch or enter the device. There is a risk
of electric shock.
• Never operate the device with damp or wet hands.
• Choose a safe location for the voltage converter, make sure no objects are able to trigger a short-circuit between the
connecting terminals.
• Lay the cable loosely and openly. Do not lay the cable between seat cushions or under foot mats. Do not cover, for examp-
le, with clothing, blankets or seat covers. This is a fire risk.
• The cable may not be bent, crushed, trapped or stretched.
• Use the original cable only. The cable may not be lengthened.
• Do not expose the voltage converter to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations, strong mechanical loads, direct sunlight
or damp. These may all damage the device
• Never connect the voltage converter to a 230 V household supply.
• Store these instructions carefully and, if necessary, pass them on to other users.
