WARNINGS ABOUT USE AND FITTING OF SCREEN,
WINDSHIELD AND NOSE SCREEN
- Products manufactured by Ermax, sold new (off destocking) by one
recognized retailer, are guaranteed for a period of one year against
any manufacturing defect. Ermax is not liable for damage to a part of the
motorbike following the mounting of one of its accessories.
- A few products are made on special order and are neither retaken, nor
exchanged, or are retaken with drops.
- Any claim about a product must be made within 72 hours following its
delivery, via the Ermax dealer. Products that have suffered deterioration
or returned after the deadline will not be neither retaken nor exchanged.
- Ermax accessories are delivered with fitting instructions. Those who
have not instructions are fitted in place of original equipment, with origi-
nal screws. Position slightly bolts on screens by beginning always at the
bottom, then tighten bolts in the same order.
- In order to increase longevity of your fixings, it is advised to polish
them off with an anticorrosion product as WD40® after each washing or
exposition at humid atmosphere (rain ...).
WARNING ABOUT SUN
- Since 1998, the plastics of new speedometers melt and get out of
shape at 70°C instead of 200 °C ! It is imperative to protect your spee-
dometers and optical unit when your motorbike is parked at sun or in
front of a white wall. No guarantee / exchange / refund will be awarded
in the event of a disaster.
- Ermax provide with double shape screens and nose screens one
dashboard protection, to place between the screen and the dashboard
when motorbike is parked at sun.
WARNING ABOUT WIND
- In case of strong winds, it is necessary to adapt its speed, particularly
on vehicules fitted with high screens or windshields.
