5. Heat dispersion: The converter will produce heat while it is operating which is quite normal. The intensity of the heat produced
varies according to the power required by the connected appliance. Ensure that the air can circulate freely around the converter
to allow the heat to disperse correctly.
6. Using the car battery: To prevent the vehicle battery from discharging and falling below the required voltage, you are advised
to run the engine every two or three hours to charge it up. The converter can be used either with the vehicle engine running or
with the engine off.
Never start the vehicle while the converter is running.
7. Cable extensions: Using an extension cable from a 220/240V mains socket will not significantly reduce the power supplied by
the converter. However you are advised to use an extension cable less than 18 metres long to avoid any drop in power.
