BOIL DRY PROTECTION
The appliance is protected by a thermal limiter with auto re-set function in case of a boil-dry accident .If the water in the tank is boiled dry , this is activated, the
appliance will turn itself off.
Please switch off and wait until the appliance cools down completely ,then switch it on ,the appliance will work well again.
This facility is safety protection for the user as well as the components.Repeated boil-dry incidents may cause damage of the heating element beyond repair. Please
note that the manufacturer will not guarantee for such negligent use of appliance.
If the appliance still cannot work again, please call for service or professional maintenance agent to have further check.
THERMAL FUSE
The appliance is fitted with a thermal fuse to have double safety protection .When the water is boiled dry and the boil dry protections fails to work ,the thermal fuse will
work ,then the appliance stops working.
This thermal fuse is a one-off component.When this part comes into effect, it will be broken and cannot be used again. The appliance should be brought to authorized
agent to replace the thermal fuse.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1.CLEANING THE URN
a. Always rinse the Coffee Urn immediately after each use.
b. Be sure to unplug the unit, pour out any remaining water or coffee, and allow to cool off before cleaning.
c. Add small quantity of hot water, brush sides, and rinse with hot water until it runs clean.
d. Clean the filter unit and the lid with a non-abrasive detergent and dry them with a soft dry cloth.
e. The inside and the tube are of stainless steel and can therefore be cleaned with a product and a scouring pad.
f. For the tap to operate normally, the hole at the bottom of the tank must not be furred up. If necessary, use a descaling agent.
g. To clean the tap unit using a bottle brush, moving it back and forth. Insert it in the tap opening inside the tan to clean the intermediate part linking the tap to the
appliance. Wash the tap handle with hot soapy water and rinse.
h. Use a soft cloth to wipe the urn body dry. Do not use benzene, thinners or harsh abrasive cleaning products, as these will damage the finish of the unit.
i.. Always remember to empty and rinse the urn with hot water before using again.
