4 Mounting
1) Use a support for projectors or a sturdy mounting
screw to fix the unit via its mounting bracket to the
desired location (e. g. crossbar or horizontal T-bar
of a lighting stand).
Important!
To prevent heat accumulation within the unit, the
mounting location must be selected in such a way
that a sufficient air circulation is ensured during
operation. Place the unit at a minimum distance of
50 cm from any adjacent surfaces. Never cover
the air vents of the housing (e. g. by curtains etc.).
Always keep the unit at a sufficient distance
from any materials which are easily inflammable
or sensitive to heat!
2) For aligning the unit, release the two setscrews on
the mounting bracket and the two hexagon socket
screws (with the supplied hexagon socket screw
key). Adjust the desired inclination of the unit and
retighten the screws.
5 Operation
1) For setting the unit into operation, connect the
mains plug to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz). Thus
the unit is switched on.
For a more convenient operation, it is recom-
mended to connect the unit to a mains socket which
can be switched on and off via a light switch.
2) The switch on the rear side of the light effect unit
allows adjustment of three different operating
modes.
Switch in position O:
No rotation of the internal colour reflector.
Switch in position I:
Continuous rotation of the internal colour reflec-
tor.
Switch in position II:
Music-controlled rotation of the internal colour
reflector with the unit responding to low fre-
quencies (bass frequencies). Switch on the
music system and adjust the desired volume. If
there is no optimum music control, increase the
volume or reduce the distance between the
speaker and the light effect unit.
Note: Regardless of the adjustment of the switch,
the rotation of the external mirror of model
LE-190 is always music-controlled.
3) To switch off the unit, disconnect the mains plug
from the mains socket or set the corresponding
light switch of the socket to "off".
