Discovering your IA350A: Rear view

CAUTION:
Before connecting or disconnecting any input or output:
Always make sure your IA350A is in the OFF position. If you have any doubt, unplug the AC cable from
the power inlet. Make sure all components connected to your amplifier are set to off. Neatly arrange
and organize wiring to and from your IA350A and to and from all your components. Separate AC wires
from audio cables to prevent hum or other unwanted noise from being introduced into the system.
An ON/OFF switch relating to the digital power source is available. It is not necessary to use this but

when listening to an analogue source the sound quality is improved if the power to the digital section is
switched off. When unpacking your amplifier for the first time, the default is OFF. It is necessary to
switch it on if you are using a digital source. Remember that to change this switch at any time it is
necessary to do so with the power off to the amplifier.
Digital input: The IA350A is equipped with one S/PDIF (75Ω) COAXIAL digital input, USB

(24/192KHz) and AES/EBU, I S, and iPod input to receive digital signals from separate digital
components. All digital inputs automatically adjust to any of the standard digital-audio data-rates
from 16/44.1KHz to 24/192KHz.
Digital output: The IA350A is equipped with one S/PDIF (75Ω) COAXIAL digital output, in order to

send digital signals to a digital recording device or external D/A processor.
Balanced Audio input: This is a higher quality input which can reject noise and interference in the

cable when used with equipment with balanced outputs. XLR connectors should be wired:
Pin 1 - Ground; Pin 2 - Hot (in-phase); Pin 3 - Cold (phase-inverted).
RCA Audio inputs: Connect the RCA outputs of your source to the RCA inputs of your IA350A. Be

sure to connect the RIGHT output of your source to the R input of your amplifier and the LEFT
output to the L input of your amplifier. Your IA350A allows the connection of 2 external line level
sources. Note: The VIDEO input has a Bypass feature. When you choose the VIDEO input, if you
press < > OK on the remote in sequence, the pre-amp will be enter Bypass status. When you press
< > OK buttons on the remote again, the unit will restore to "VIDEO" input status.
6 PRE 0UT: If you want to use a subwoofer, a separate power amplifier or active speakers, connect here.
7 Right and Left speaker output: When connecting speakers take care to connect in phase. The + of
your speaker must be connected to the + of the IA350A. Connect your RIGHT speaker to the R
output of your IA350A and the LEFT speaker to the L output. We recommend the use of banana
plugs to prevent any short-circuit. The IA350A can be used with 8Ω or 4Ω speakers.
Power inlet: Use the mains cable provided with your IA350A. Be sure the switch is in OFF position

before plugging or unplugging the mains cable.
