General Safety Instructions

Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the
appliance into operation and keep the instructions including
the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the in-
ternal packing. If you give this device to other people, please
also pass on the operating instructions.
• The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and
for the envisaged purpose.
• This appliance is not fi t for commercial use.
• Do not use it outdoors.
• Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humid-
ity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges.
• Check the appliance and the cable for damage on a
regular basis. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.
• Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always
contact an authorized technician.
Symbols in these Instructions for Use
Important information for your safety is specially marked. It is
essential to comply with these instructions in order to avoid
accidents and prevent damage to the machine:

This warns you of dangers to your health and indicates pos-
sible injury risks.
CAUTION:
This refers to possible hazards to the machine or other
objects.
NOTE: This highlights tips and information.
Children and Frail Individuals
In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all
packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their
reach.
WARNING!
Do not allow small children to play with the foil as there is a
danger of suffocation!
Special safety instructions for this system
WARNING:
Avoid damage to your ears by turning the volume up too
high.
CAUTION:
• Do not expose the loudspeakers to extreme heat, cold
or moisture.
• Switch your amplifier off before you connect the loud-
speakers or make any changes to the connection.
CAUTION:
• Please ensure that the wires of the loudspeaker con-
nections do not touch one another as there is a danger
of a short circuit.
• Do not operate your amplifier at maximum volume.
This may result in damage.
• Turn down the volume before you switch on the
amplifier or after you have changed the sound source.
• Never connect the loudspeakers to the mains power
supply!
• Do not touch the loudspeaker membranes with your
hands or with other objects as this will damage them.
• Do not overload the loudspeakers.

Setting up the speakers

• Select an appropriate location for the loudspeakers, for
example a dry, flat, non-slip surface.
• Do not place any objects (e.g. flower vases) on the loud-
speakers.
Connection
This product is loudspeakers for indoor use and connexion to
a stereo amplifier.
Connect the loudspeakers to your amplifier according to the
following connection instructions:
Right-hand
loudspeaker
Stereo
amplifier
Output
• Connect the red loudspeaker wires to the red connec-
tions and the black wires to the black connections.
• Release the screw terminals on the back and clamp the
wires underneath. Then tighten the screw terminals again.
NOTE:
• You can also make the connexion at the nuts with
"banana plugs".
• The loudspeaker grilles are removable.
