Safety has first priority at Solis.
We at Solis are very safety conscious. We always
keep the safety of our customers foremost during the
design and manufacture of our products.

Important safety instructions

• CAUTION: Never remove the mixing jug, lift the lid
or put wooden spoons or other foreign objects in
the mixing jug and/or put your hands in the mixing
jug when the blender is switched on. You must first
switch to "0" (middle switch position, OFF) to
switch the machine OFF, and then wait until the
motor has completely stopped. Then remove the
mixing jug from the blender base before you reach
into the jug or work in the jug with cooking
utensils or similar articles.
• Never run the blender unattended. Take special
care when using the appliance if children are
present. Never let children or infirm persons work
unsupervised with the blender.
• Check that the blender is correctly and completely
assembled before you switch on the appliance. For
safety reasons, the blender cannot be switched on
if it is not correctly assembled.
• Only work on dry, level surfaces and stable
working tops that will not tip over or bend under
the weight of the appliance.
• Never let water or other liquids penetrate into the
blender base.
• Always unplug the blender from the power socket
when you have finished working with the
appliance, and before you dismantle the appliance
for cleaning.
• Never pull on, or strain the power cord. Place the
appliance close to a wall socket, so that you can
easily reach the socket with the power cord.
• Never use extension cables or a table socket.
Always connect the blender directly to a wall
socket with the power cord.
In addition, we ask you to take a certain amount of
care when working with electrical appliances. Please
follow the safety measures listed here.
Important safety instructions for all electrical
appliances
• Carefully read through the instructions before you
operate the appliance. Keep the instructions where
they are always available.
• Never immerse the power cord or the blender base
in water or other liquids.
• Always supervise the appliance when it is in
operation. Take special care if children are present.
• The appliance is not suitable for unsupervised use
by children or infirm persons.
• Never work with electrical appliances if the power
cord or the socket is damaged or if the appliance
does not function as expected, or if it has been
damaged in any way.
• For service and repairs only take the appliance to
an authorized electrical workshop or send it back
to SOLIS AG, Glattbrugg.
• Never let the power cord hang over the table or
kitchen top edge. Keep the power cord away from
hot surfaces (e.g. radiators, ovens).
• Always switch the appliance OFF and unplug the
power cord from the socket:
– when you leave the appliance unattended,
– when the appliance is not being used,
– before you clean the appliance,
– before you move or transport the appliance.
• All service work beyond cleaning the removable
parts and the outside of the blender base may only
be carried out by an authorized specialist
workshop.
• This appliance is only intended for domestic use.
• For your safety, we recommend the use of an earth
leakage protection device (obtainable from
electrical dealers or from SOLIS-MAIL AG,
Telephone 0848 084 884, Fax 0848 804 890)
