1.4 Re: Steam
Danger of burning!
Hot water can cause severe
burns. So please especially ob-
serve the following:
„
Never remove the lid when the appliance
is in use.
„
Never operate the kettle without its lid.
„
Avoid contact with hot steam that escapes
from the spout during and after the heating of
water.
„
Keep containers with hot water out of
reach of babies and small children. Never car-
ry small children and containers of hot water
simultaneously.

please especially observe the

Always carry the the full kettle with care,
using only the handle.
„
Never touch then hot heating-plate inside
the kettle.
„
Always switch off the appliance, discon-
nect it from the mains and let it cool off before
performing cleaning or maintenance.

Make sure that the appliance and all its
accessories do not come in contact with hot
surfaces. Never put the water kettle onto heat
sources such as stove plates or in their imme-
diate vicinity.

Set the appliance onto a dry, level and sol-
id surface.

This appliance is not intended to be used
by persons (including children) with impaired
physical, sensorial or mental abilities and/or
insufficient experience or knowledge, unless
they are supervised by a person responsible
for their safety or have been instructed in the
proper use of the appliance by this person.

Children should be supervised in order to
make sure that they don't play with the appli-
ance.

Always switch off the appliance when
leaving the room and disconnect it from the
mains.

with this appliance.
1.8 Re: Appropriate Use
The water kettle may only be used for heating
cold drinking-water. The appliance is intended
for home use only. It may not be used com-
mercially. Any other use is considered inap-
propriate and is prohibited.
This applies especially to the following:

Filling the appliance with other liquids or
materials than cold drinking-water. Heating
beverages, meals or especially non-foods is
strictly prohibited.
„
Operating the appliance with content lev-
els below the "Min" and above the "max"
mark.
„
Outdoor use.
