"HYBRID" mode

7.4.1

Description

The ''HYBRID'' mode consists in driving SB118 enclosures along with ARCS
the same amplified controller, thus limiting the number of required units.
The corresponding presets are available only in the LA4 library.
7.4.2
Connecting SB118 and ARCS
The enclosures connect to the LA4 outputs as follows: channels 1 and 2 are dedicated to both SB118 enclosures, and
channel 3 is dedicated to the first ARCS

enclosure. Therefore, a single LA4 amplified controller can drive up to two SB118 and 2 ARCS
shown in Figure 13.

A maximum of one SB118 enclosure can be connected per LA4 output channel.

7.4.3

[ARCS_S118_LO] and [ARCS_S118_HI] presets

The [ARCS_S118_LO] preset features a standard HF contour.
The [ARCS_S118_HI] preset features an increased HF contour (3dB HF shelving EQ difference versus the LO preset).
In both presets the crossover frequency between the SB118 and the ARCS
The recommended ratio is one SB118 for one ARCS
Activate the LOAD PRESET menu from the LA4 amplified controller front panel and then select the desired preset.
Refer to the ''LA4" user manual for additional instructions. The presets are also accessible using the LA NETWORK
MANAGER software (refer to ''LA NETWORK MANAGER" user manual). The following table shows the
parameters which are accessible for both presets:
