General
The HO-S 221/231 or 321/331 series is a new generation of high-end day/night B/W and colour cameras
with high resolution and sensitivity. The series is available in PAL (CCIR) and NTSC (EIA) format. The
camera series is developed with a new DSP processor, which has remarkable high signal to noise ratio
and high bit flow. The camera also has built-in ram, and together with the DSP processor enable to
produce field integration with 100% resolution.
The cameras use Exview HAD™ sensor *, which are very sensitive, and have excellent anti-smear and
blooming specifications.
The cameras run on 12V DC and can be synchronized by using an external VBS signal. There are
connections for video control or direct drive lens, and VBS or Y video output. All cameras have CS/C-
mount with a variable mounting ring for back focus. The camera is equipped with a D-sub connector for
power, synchronization and control signals.
The camera set-up can be performed via the CST software platform and an RS232C port, or from a new
on-screen menu that can be controlled by the three buttons mounted on the rear of the camera. Both the
software and the on-screen-menu can control the following setting: shutter, integration, gamma, AGC, H/V
enhancer, iris-level for direct drive, positive/negative picture, back-light compensation, and AWB fixed or
manual color temperature.
Applications include mobile and stationary surveillance, security, and a large variety of other indoor and
outdoor applications.
