ENGLISH
1. Intended use
The Kaiser „VarioBase 300" light stand is in-
tended to be used with lights or flash guns.
Attaching via 16 mm (5/8") standard spigot
(1) or 1/4" connecting thread respectively.
2. Safety notice
Always take care of a safe stand. The center
column (4) should be in a vertical position. If
the balance point of a mounted device is out-
side the direction of the center column, then
it should be directed towards one of the legs
(6) of the stand. Please keep in mind that the
more you extend the center column the more
you should spread the legs of the stand.
Please make sure that all locking screws (2)
are tightened and all clamping locks (7) are
closed when you use the stand.
Do not exceed the maximum permissible
load*.
Please detach a mounted device before you
transport the stand.
3. Unfolding the legs of the stand
See fig. B.
You can adjust the mobility of the legs as
needed using a SW4 (4 mm) hex-wrench.
4. Setting leg extension length

5. Leg angle adjustment
See fig. D.
If you want to move a leg upwards (higher
inclination/folding up), push the leg slight-
ly downwards, move the release button (5)
downwards with your thumb and then move
the leg upwards.
6. Height adjustment
See fig. E.
When adjusting the height of the center co-
lumn while a device is mounted on the stand,

tended more than 2/3 of their total length and the legs (6) of the
stand must be in their middle position.

please hold the device to prevent it from sli-
ding downwards and getting damaged even-
tually.
7. Maintenance and care
The stand is maintenance-free. Clean it with
a soft, dry cloth. Do not use petrol or other
cleaning liquids or solvents.
