Caster Installation (Fig B)

M6-20 Snap-In Nuts (Qty: 4)

Installing the Casters

nOTE: Use adequate personnel for this operation.
1. Lay the unit on its back; use packaging material to
protect the paint finish.
2. Place one snap-in nut into center slot.
3. Align tab end of caster with large slot. Rotate tab end of
caster into slot and align screw hole with snap-in nut.
4. Install the casters using one M6-20 screw.
5. Mount both swivel casters on the same side of the unit.
6. Wrench-tighten all screws to 75 in-lb. Do not overtighten.
7. Return the unit to its upright position
Remove Chest from Rolling Cabinet
(If applicable)
The unit comes with the chest secured to the inside of the
cabinet by either two or four 1/4 - 14 × 5/8" screws.
1. Lay the cabinet down on its back. Use packaging material
to protect the paint finish.
2. Remove the securing screws from the underside of
the cabinet. Save the screws for mounting the chest to
the cabinet.
3. Remove the chest.
Mounting Chest to Cabinet (Fig. C)
(If applicable)

WARNING: Chest must be bolted to the cabinet to
prevent it from sliding or falling off cabinet.

1/4 - 10 × 5/8" Sheet Metal Screw (Qty: 4)
3/8" Wrench
Mounting Chest to Cabinet
nOTE: Use adequate personnel for this operation.
1. Remove the top drawer from the cabinet. Refer to
Removing Drawers.
2. Lift the chest onto the cabinet. Line up the holes in
the bottom of the chest with the holes in the top of
the cabinet.
3. Attach the chest with the screws.
4. Wrench tighten all screws.
5. Reinstall the drawer(s). Refer to Installing Drawers.
6. To remove the chest, reverse the procedure.
OPERATION
Removing Drawers (Fig. D, E)
1. Empty the drawer.
2. Fully extend the drawer.
3. Push the right release slide lever down 
left release slide lever 
4. Pull out drawer to remove.
Installing Drawers (Fig. F–I)
1. Pull slides and slide carrier out to fully extended position.
2. Hold the slide on the unit while aligning it with the slide
on drawer.
3. Slightly insert one side and repeat for the other side.
Slowly push drawer to its fully closed position to
engage slide.
4. Open drawer and reclose to ensure proper operation.
Locking the Unit
Insert the lockbar (which stores in the top tray), tabbed end
up, into the slot in the top tray and down into the slot in the
base. Close the cover and lock with the key.
To Open Panel on Storage Compartment
To open a storage compartment with a panel, pull panel
out, lift up, and push panel back into unit to gain access
to compartment.
MAINTENANCE (FIG. J, K)
Lubricate casters annually with high quality bearing
grease. Apply grease where shown.
Check the caster bolts annually for tightness.
Lubricate the slides with grease or equivalent (twice
annually). Apply grease where shown.
Lubricate the internal locking system (if applicable) with
grease or equivalent once a year by removing top drawer.
Lubricate lock with graphite annually.
Periodically the drawer fronts, drawer trim, and other
surfaces should be cleaned with a mild detergent
and water.
