Appendix A: List of items to be regularly inspected

Make sure the ladder stile and rail connection are not bent, twisted, dented, cracked, corroded or rotten
Check that all connecting elements are in good condition

Check all attachment (usually rivets, screws or nuts) are completely present and that they are not released or corrodedi

Check all rungs are completely present, that they are not unstable, excessively worn, corroded or damaged
5)
Check the joints and / or slides between sections are not damaged, released or corroded
6)
Check the horizontality of the locking system, that it is not bent, detached, corroded or damaged
7)
Check that the rungs are always held to the ladder stile by crimping, they do not come off, they are not damaged or corroded
8)
Check for feet and end caps, it is not loose, undone, corroded or damaged
Check the ladder, in its entirety, does not show any stains (for example dirt, mud, paint, oil or grease)

Check the locking systems are not damaged or corroded and they are working properly
11)
Check there are no missing parts or attachments to the platform (if the ladder is equipped with) and that it is not damaged
or corroded
During the periodic inspection of the ladder, points 1 to 11 must be taken into consideration. If one of the above verification points
is not completely satisfied, DO NOT use the ladder. Check only if the verified point is satisfied. Confirm with the date.
