7- FIXING THE DETECTOR
To maintain your smoke detector in good condition:
> Test it regularly to check its operation.
> Clean it with a dry cloth, vacuum around the openings around the detector.
> Never use water, cleaners or detergents likely to damage your smoke Alarm.
Changing the battery (5-year model ONLY).
> Change the unit's battery when the battery low warning signal sounds every minute. The Alarm
runs for about 30 days from the activation of this signal.
