Dangers of Injury

Keep the packaging material away from children and ani-
mals. There is a danger of suffocation!
Batteries can be deadly if swallowed. Store the device out
of the reach of children and animals. If a battery is swal-
lowed, seek medical assistance immediately.
Leave out the area of the eyes when applying the device to
the face, and leave out the area of the thyroid glands when
treating the neck area.
When using the device, never remain in one spot for long,
but rather keep moving the device at all times.

The Proper Handling of Batteries

If the battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and
mucous membranes to come into contact with the battery
acid. If you touch battery acid, rinse the affected sites with
abundant fresh water immediately and contact a doctor as
soon as possible.
Remove a leaking battery from the battery compartment
immediately and clean the contacts before you insert a new
battery.
The battery must not be taken apart, thrown into a fi re, im-
mersed in liquids or short-circuited.
Before the device is disposed of, the battery must be re-
moved and disposed of separately.
Avoiding Damage to Material, Property and the Device
Never immerse the device fully in water or other liquids. No
water must be allowed to enter the device.
Make sure that the device cannot fall into water or other
liquids. Never use the device while bathing or showering!
Do not use the device with wet hands.
Do not use the device in rooms with high humidity.
Keep the device clean and dry.
Always check the device for damage before putting it into
operation. Do not use the device if it shows obvious signs
of damage.
Do not dismantle the device. Have any repairs done only by
a specialist workshop or the customer service department.
Never leave the device unattended when it is switched on.
