INSTALATION OF THE ISOFIX LATCHESIN GROUP II, III (15-36 kgs)
The ISOFIX latches are located under the lower cover of the seat. Open the lower cover (A-1, A-2) and rotate the latches
outwards (A-3). Close the cover (A-4). Release the isofix latch locks by pressing the buttons on the sides of the latches (A-5).
Place the seat on a passenger seat in the car and slide the ISOFIX latches so they are aligned with the ISOFIX anchors in the
car. Push the seat towards the backrest until the indicators (3) on the latches turn from RED to GREEN and you hear a CLICK
sound. This will indicate the ISOFIX latches are properly secured. To remove the seat, press both buttons on the latches and
pull the seat out.
INSTALATION IN GROUP II, III (15-36 kgs)
Place the child seat forward-facing on the passenger seat in the car. Make sure the child seat rests against the backrest of
the passenger seat and the base lays solid on the passenger seat. Place the child in the seat.
Pull the car seat belt in front of the child and lock the belt tongue in the belt buckle (you will hear the 'click').
Place the shoulder part and the lap part of the belt under the armrests. The upper part of the shoulder belt should go
through the middle of the child's shoulder and chest (B-1).
Before each use, make sure the car belts are properly engaged and are aligned as shown in the picture (B-2).
Make sure the belts are tight and not twisted. When the car seat is not being used by the child, it should always be secured
with car belts. Otherwise the seat may move around the car and cause additional danger of harming the driver or the
passengers during an accident or sudden braking.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Remember to ONLY use the original upholstery for the Caretero PUMA seat, as it is an integral part of the seat and plays an
important role in its proper functioning. The upholstery may be removed for washing (hand wash or machine wash -
delicate fabrics programme, max 30°C). Do not tumble dry. Use only mild detergents. Plastic parts of the seat may be
cleaned with a damp cloth with addition of soap. Never use strong detergenst such as bleaches etc.
Never iron the uphostery.
