DESCRIPTION
 FUNCTION
Equipment's use is to cool air and keep it at a constant temperature.
 SOUND LEVEL
The sound level produced by the air conditioners is less than 70 dBA (see Specific Tables)
PRECAUTIONS
 TRANSPORT
The air conditioners are packaged carefully for shipment. They are strapped to a pallet and transported in their
normal operating position.
IMPORTANT: Clients are responsible of inspecting shipments on arrival and record any reservations on transport
receipt. The purchaser must send confirmation of these reservations to the carrier by registered letter with
acknowledgement of receipt within 48 hours of receiving goods. If the reservations are not recorded this way, our
company will not be able to consider any compensation claims from client. The equipment is packaged for handling by
pallet truck, lifting truck or lifting rings.
KEEP THE AIR CONDITIONER IN OPERATING POSITION
 USE
The air conditioner must only be used:
within the temperature and pressure ranges mentioned in this manual
with a power supply voltage matching the datas on the information plate (fixed on the air conditioner)
The air conditioner must not be used:
in an explosive or aggressive aera. Electrical connections and operations requiring access to electrical
components must only be carried out by a qualified technician.
 SECURITY
COOLANTS :
Under normal conditions, the coolant used in the air conditioner is non-flammable, non explosive and non-toxic.
Warning: the circuit contains pressurised cooling gas. If the coolant spreads into the atmosphere, it becomes an
almost odourless gas. In contact with a flame or very hot metal surface, the vapour breaks down into highly irritant
products whose presence is felt immediatly. On case of a coolant's leakage, ventilate the rooms concerned thorougly.
As a general rule, the colorant should only be handled by a qualified technician, who must comply with legislation in
force concerning the use of refrigerants.
ELECTRICITY :
The air conditioner contains an electrical section. When the circuit is live it is a potential hazard for any unqualified
personnel. Power must therefore only be switched on after all hydraulic and electrical connections of the system have
been made. Electrical connections and operations requiring access to electrical components must only be carried out
by a qualified technician
INSTALLATION
WHEN INSTALLING THE AIR CONDITIONERS, MAKE AERAULIC CONNECTIONS BEFORE
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
 LAYOUT
The air conditioner must be installed in a clean, well-ventilated room. All air-condensing equipment releases heat into
the atmosphere at a rate of about 1.5 times the cooling capacity. Ensure that the heat released by the cooler does not
raise the room temperature is felt immediately. On case of a coolant's leakage, ventilate the rooms concerned
thoroughly. As a general rule, the coolant should only be handled by a qualified technician, who must comply with
legislation in force concerning the use of refrigerants.
