Working instructions.
Before mounting or replacing application tools or accessories, remove the bat-
WARNING
tery. This preventive safety measure rules out the danger of injuries through
accidental starting of the power tool.
Do not use accessories not specifically intended and recommended for this power tool by FEIN.
The use of non-original FEIN accessories can lead to overheating of the power tool and destroy
it.
For each job, use only the FEIN application tool released and intended for the respective
application.
Selecting the rotation direction
(figure 6).
To avoid accidental starting, e. g., during
transport, set the rotation selector switch to
the centre position.
Set the rotation selector switch to right or left
rotation as required.
Adjust the rotation selector switch only
when the machine is at a complete stop.
Setting the operating mode (figure 7).
Change the operating mode only when the
power tool is switched off! Otherwise, the
machine can become damaged.
Press the unlocking button and rotate the
operating mode selector switch to the desired
position until it can be heard to engage. Oth-
erwise, the power tool can become damaged.
Set the desired operating mode.
– For drilling without impact in wood, metal,
ceramics and plastic, or for screwdriving,
set the operating mode selector switch to
the "drilling" symbol.
– For hammer drilling in concrete or stone,
set the operating mode selector switch to
the "hammer drilling" symbol.
– For chiselling, set the operating mode
selector switch to the "chiselling" symbol.
