Mounting
Danger of injury and property damage if the
radiator falls!
Check the bearing surface for load-carrying
capacity: > 150 kg.
The supplied screws and screw anchors are only suit-
able for concrete.
In case of other wall structures observe the specifi-
cations of the screw anchor manufacturer.
Observe special regulations for public buildings.
Material damage through magnetism!
There are magnets at the heating field that can delete
magnetic data media, such as bank cards.
Do not have a bank card or similar material on you
during mounting.
Required accessories
Thermostat valve with setting function so that hydraulic align-
ment can be carried out at the radiator
Thermostat head
Preparatory steps (→ Fig. 1–2)
Open the packaging and remove the transport protection of
the radiator at the rear.
Check whether the scope of delivery is complete and free of
damage.
Lay out the required tools.
Mounting the radiator (→ Fig. 3–10)
Mount the upper retainers to the wall profiles.
Dismantle the plastic plugs at the radiator.
Mark the drill holes. Observe the minimum distances:
Radiator – floor: 150–200 mm.
Radiator – ceiling: 100 mm.
Radiator – side wall: 50 mm.
Drill the holes and insert the screw anchors.
Screw on the wall profiles and lower retainers hand-tight us-
ing washers and screws.
Align the wall profiles using a level and screw them tight.
Hang in the radiator with a second person.
Insert the spacers respectively from below into the wall pro-
file and the retainer at the radiator.
Use the retainers to align the radiator vertically.
Mounting the accessories and covers (→ Fig. 11)
If applicable, mount the towel rail/hook to the cover or a
folding mirror (→ separate instructions).
Hang in the cover. In the process ensure that the cover is
flush with the radiator at the top.
Connection
The automatic bleed valve (E) is premounted (→ Fig. B).
Connect the radiator to the water end via the thermostat
valve with setting function (→ manufacturer's instructions).
Commissioning
The bleed valve bleeds automatically in the closed
state.
Do not open the bleed valve completely.
Replace leaking bleed valves and do not close
them with a cap.
Fill and bleed the radiator. Danger of scalding!
Check the radiator and water-end connections for leaks.
Fault elimination
The bleed valve bleeds automatically in the closed
state. If this is not the case, manual bleeding can be
achieved by opening the bleed valve.
Do not open the bleed valve completely.
Replace leaking bleed valves and do not close
them with a cap.
Open the bleed valve with a max. of ¼ revolution anticlock-
wise.
Fill and bleed the radiator. Danger of scalding!
Check the radiator and water-end connections for leaks.
Close the bleed valve clockwise and check for leaks.
