Serious injuries or material damage
• Use only clean equipment and
clean oil without air bubbles for
filling.
• Secure hoses and lines to
prevent them from uncontrolled
whipping.
• Do not exceed the maximum
working pressure indicated
in the technical data; use a
pressure reducer, if necessary.
• Do not use the hoses or lines to
carry the machine.
• Operate the machine only in
a well-ventilated area without
hazardous vapours.
• Use the hydraulic oil specified
in the technical data.
• Operate the machine only with
the oil drain plug screwed in.

1 .5 WARNING SIGN ON THE MACHINE

The warning sign is located on the banderole of the
machine, see Chapter 1.6.

information in the operating
manual before operating the
machine.

1 .6 TYPE PLATE / SERIAL NUMBER

The type plate is located on the banderole. The
serial number can be found on the outside of the
housing. The serial number contains the year and
month of production.

2 Technical description

configurations for each series. The
specifications and notes on the
series apply also to customised
configurations of a series.

2 .1 INTENDED USE

This machine is a pneumatic-hydraulic setting tool
for joining flat parts using the appropriate fasteners.
For the setting tools described in this manual, only
blind rivets are to be used as fasteners.

2 .2 APPLICATION LIMITS

Safe and trouble-free operation of the machine is
not assured in the following cases:
• The machine is not operated in accordance
with the operating manual.
• The operator has not been instructed in the
use of the machine.
• The machine is used outside the scope of the
intended use.
