When the work area is removed from the power source, use an extension cord of sufficient thickness and rated
capacity. The extension cord should be kept as short as practicable.
4. Electrical safety
The electric motor has been designed for one voltage only. Always check that the power supply corresponds to
the voltage on the rating plate.
This machine is double insulated in accordance with EN 60745
CAUTION:
To prevent accidents, make sure to turn the switch off and disconnect to the plug from the power receptacle.
Changing the paddles (Fig 1 & 2)
1. Mounting the paddle
- Insert and screw the paddle (7) into the threaded shaft (9).
- Tight the paddle with the spanners.
CAUTION:
- Check the tight seating of the paddle.
- Loose paddle can fall out and lead to injuries.
2. Removing the paddle
- Untight and unscrew the paddle (7).
- Remove the paddle.
Selecting the gear (Fig 3)
CAUTION:
Do not switch the function knob (6) during motor rotation. Be sure to switch the function knob when the motor is at
a complete stop.
- Low speed (Gear 1): 150-300 rpm, for materials with high viscosity (plaster, cement, concrete, screed,
- High speed (Gear 2): 300-650 rpm, for materials with low viscosity (emulsion paint, varnish, aghesive,
- Turn the speed selector (6) and select the right gear.
- If the speed selector (6) cannot be turn all the way, turn the drive spindle slightly with the paddle, and try again.
Selecting the speed (Fig 4)
This electric mixer is equipped with a built-in electronic control circuit that can adjust and regulate the number of
rotations.
- Adjust the speed with the adjuster knob (5), depending upon the contents of operation: this can be done even
while the tool is running.
The dial is marked from the lowest speed Min to full speed Max.
NOTE:
- If the tool is operated at low speeds for a long period of time, run the machine at the fastest speed for few ten
seconds when the work is finished in order to cool down the motor.
- If the tool is operated continuously at low speeds for a long period of time, the operation life of the motor will be
reduced.
- The speed adjusting dial can be turned only as far as full speed Max and lowest speed Min. Do not force to pass
full speed or lowest speed, or the speed adjusting function may no longer work.
- Always use the lowest speed when submerging or lifting out the paddles in to the materials. Then adjust by
increasing the working speed.
Switching On and Off (Fig 5)
- To start the machine, press the On/Off switch (1) and keep it pressed.
