DESCRIPTION
The RSD receiver is designed to receive the 8-bit trinary code radio emitter signals used in
motorised gate facilities.
This receiver works at 433.92MHz (RSD-433 model) or 868.35MHz (RSD-868 model) and is valid
for different emitters, depending on the type of decoding used in the receiver or control board.
In order for this receiver to work, it must be inserted in the radio connector (R.E.) of a receiver or
control board fitted with a decoder and memory to programme the emitter code or codes.
Install and use the receiver in line with these instructions. Inappropriate use may lead
to failures and hazardous situations.

INSTALLATION
Discard the packaging safely and in an environmentally friendly manner.
O Check the control board instructions in order to ensure it is compatible with the RSD receiver.
Installation
1 Insert the plug-in receiver (RSD) in the radio connector (R.E.) of the control board (CM).

Check the control board instructions (CM) to locate the connector. The attached figures
show some examples, although not all cases are covered.
2 Ensure the location of the receiver is suitable for correct reception:
To improve reception, install the receiver high up and far from large metallic parts.
Install it at a distance of at least 4 metres from other receivers.
Before definitively securing the receiver, we recommend carrying out a reception test.
3 Install the supplied antenna (ANT) in the antenna connector.
4 If the antenna supplied is not in a favourable position or the radio signal is weak, reception can
be improved by connecting an exterior KRAET antenna. The exterior antenna should be
installed as high up as possible, above any metal structure or reinforced concrete which may be
present in the area. Use coaxial cable with impedance of 50 Ohm (for example low-loss RG58).
Use the shortest cable possible (not exceeding 10m) in order to reduce signal dispersion.
Radio code recording
Recording is made in the control board, and should be carried out in line with the control board
instructions. Below are some examples:
1 Connect the electrical power supply.
2 Select the trinary code in the emitter to be recorded.
3 Enable radio code programming mode in the control board or receiver (for total operation or
for pedestrian operation):
• in VIVO-M101/M201 or AP400S/AP600 control boards, place DIP1 and DIP4 in ON for total
operation, or DIP6 for pedestrian operation.
• in CLEVER01/02 control boards, press the corresponding button (SW1 or LSW) for total
operation (pedestrian operation is not possible).
• in LINCE, DOLFIN, VIVO-D201/D102 control boards, select the corresponding parameter in
the display (P1 for total operation or P2 for pedestrian operation).
• in the IRIN2S receiver, place D1 in ON to programme in RL1 or press P2 to programme in RL2.
4 Press the emitter button until the control board indicates that recording is complete.
5 Release the emitter button. Disable radio code recording mode in the control board.
The emitter code is stored in the control board memory.

FAILURE DIAGNOSIS
Should the receiver not work correctly, check the following:
• that the receiver is properly inserted in the radio connector of the control board (CM)
• that the antenna is properly positioned
• that the receiver is compatible with the control board (CM) and with the emitter
• that the board (CM) is correctly installed and fed
• the correct operation of the emitter
• the correct recording of the radio code (if in doubt, record it again)
• the location of the antenna or of the receiver: modify them as necessary

O receptor RSD está concebido para receber os sinais de emissores de rádio de código ternário de
8 bits utilizados nas instalações de portas motorizadas.
Este receptor funciona a 433,92 MHz (modelo RSD-433) ou 868,35 MHz (modelo RSD-868) e é
válido para diferentes emissores, em função do tipo de descodificação que o quadro de manobra
ou receptor incluir.
Para que este receptor funcione é necessário inseri-lo no conector de rádio (R.E.) de um quadro de
manobra ou receptor que disponha do descodificador e de memória para gravar o código ou
códigos dos emissores.
Instale e use o receptor respeitando as indicações destas instruções. O uso inadequado
pode causar avarias e situações perigosas.

Instalação
1 Insira o receptor conectável (RSD) no conector de rádio (R.E.) do quadro de manobra (CM).

2 Assegure-se de que a localização do receptor é adequada para a correcta recepção:
Para melhorar a recepção, instale o receptor numa altura elevada e longe de peças metálicas
grandes.
Instale-o a uma distância de, pelo menos, 4 metros em relação a outros receptores.
Antes de fixar definitivamente o receptor, recomenda-se fazer uma prova de recepção.
3 Instale a antena (ANT) fornecida, ligando-a no borne de antena.
4 Se a antena fornecida não estiver numa posição favorável e o sinal de rádio for fraco, pode
melhorar a recepção ligando uma antena exterior KRAET. A antena exterior deve ser instalada
o mais alto possível e por cima de qualquer estrutura metálica ou de cimento armado presente
na zona. Utilize um cabo coaxial com impedância de 50 ohm (por exemplo, RG58 de baixa
perda). Para reduzir a dispersão do sinal utilize um cabo o mais curto possível (não deve
ultrapassar os 10 m).
Gravação do código de rádio
A gravação é realizada no quadro de manobra, por isso é recomendável seguir as instruções do
respectivo quadro. A seguir são mostrados alguns exemplos:
1 Faça a ligação da alimentação eléctrica.
2 No emissor que deseja gravar, seleccione o código ternário.
3 No quadro de manobra ou receptor active o modo de gravação do código de rádio (para
manobra total ou manobra pedonal):
• nos quadros de manobra VIVO-M101/M201 ou AP400S/AP600, coloque no ON DIP1 e DIP4
para manobra total ou no DIP6 para manobra pedonal.
• nos quadros CLEVER01/ 02 pressione o botão correspondente (SW1 ou LSW) para manobra
total (não é possível realizar a manobra pedonal).
• nos quadros LINCE, DOLFIN, VIVO-D201 / D102 seleccione no ecrã o parâmetro
correspondente (P1 para manobra total ou P2 para manobra pedonal).
• no receptor IRIN2S coloque D1 no ON para gravar no RL1 ou pressione P2 para gravar no
RL2.
4 Prima o botão do emissor até que o quadro de manobra indique que a gravação foi realizada.
5 Solte o botão do emissor. No quadro de manobra, desactive o modo de gravação do código de
rádio.
O código do emissor fica armazenado na memória do quadro de manobra.

DIAGNÓSTICO DE AVARIAS
No caso do receptor não funcionar correctamente, verifique o seguinte:
• se o receptor está bem inserido no conector de rádio do quadro de manobra (CM)
• se a antena está bem colocada
• se o receptor é compatível com o quadro de manobra (CM) e com o emissor
• se o quadro de manobra (CM) está correctamente instalado e alimentado
• o correcto funcionamento do emissor
• a correcta gravação do código de rádio (grave-o novamente se tem dúvida)
• a localização da antena ou do receptor: modifique-a se for necessário

BESCHREIBUNG
Der Empfänger RSD wurde für den Empfang von in motorisierten Türanlagen verwendeten
Signalen von Funksendern mit 8 Bit Trinärcode entwickelt.
Dieser Empfänger funktioniert mit 433,92MHz (Modell RSD-433) bzw. 868,35MHz (Modell RSD-
868) und kann je nach Decodiersystem von Steuerung oder Empfänger mit verschiedenen Sendern
verwendet werden.
Für den Betrieb dieses Empfängers muss dieser in den Funkanschluss (R.E.) einer Steuerung bzw.
eines Empfängers mit Decoder und Speicher für die Sendercodes gesteckt werden.
Installieren und verwenden Sie den Empfänger unter Berücksichtigung dieser
Anweisungen. Die unsachgemäße Anwendung kann Schäden und gefährliche
Situationen zur Folge haben.

INSTALLATION
Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung bitte umweltgerecht.
O Lesen Sie in der Gebrauchsanleitung der Steuerung nach, um sicherzustallen, dass diese mit
dem Steckempfänger RSD kompatibel ist.
Installation
1 Stecken Sie den Steckempfänger (RSD) in den Funkanschluss (R.E.) der Steuerung (CM).

Lesen Sie in der Gebrauchsanleitung der Steuerung (CM) nach, um den Anschluss zu finden.
In nebenstehenden Abbildungen werden verschiedene Beispiele gezeigt, die jedoch nicht
alle möglichen Fälle abdecken.
2 Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Standort des Empfängers für einen einwandfreien Empfang geeignet ist:
Um den Empfang zu verbessern, installieren Sie den Empfänger in großer Höhe und fern von
großen Metallteilen.
Installieren Sie es in einer Entfernung von mindestens 4 Metern von anderen Empfängern.
Bevor der Empfänger endgültig befestigt wird, sollte ein Empfangstest durchgeführt werden.
3 Installieren Sie die mitgelieferte Antenne (ANT) und schließen Sie sie an die Antennenklemme an.
4 Befindet sich die mitgelieferte Antenne an einer ungünstigen Position und ist das Funksignal
schwach, kann der Empfang durch den Anschluss einer Außenantenne KRAET verbessert
werden. Die Außenantenne muss so hoch wie möglich und über allen im Bereich möglicherweise
vorhandenen Metall- bzw. Stahlbetonkonstruktionen angebracht werden. Verwenden Sie ein
Koaxialkabel mit 50 Ohm Impedanz (z.B. RG58 mit niedrigem Verlust). Zur Verminderung der
Signalausbreitung sollte das verwendete Kabel so kurz wie möglich sein (nicht länger als 10m).
Speichern des Funkcodes
Das Speichern erfolgt in der Steuerung, weshalb deren Anweisungen zu befolgen sind. Im
Folgenden finden sich einige Beispiele:
1 Schließen Sie die elektrische Stromversorgung an.
2 Wählen Sie den Trinärcode am zu speichernden Sender.
3 Aktivieren Sie in der Steuerung bzw. dem Empfänger den Speichermodus des Funkcodes (für
Gesamt- oder Personenöffnung):
• Stellen Sie bei den Steuerungen VIVO-M101/M201 bzw. AP400S/AP600 die Schalter DIP1
und DIP4 auf ON für die Gesamtöffnung bzw. DIP6 auf ON für die Personenöffnung.
• Drücken Sie bei den Steuerungen CLEVER01/ 02 die entsprechende Taste (SW1 oder LSW)
für die Gesamtöffnung (Personenöffnung ist nicht möglich).
• Wählen Sie bei den Steuerungen LINCE, DOLFIN, VIVO-D201 / D102 den entsprechenden
Parameter auf dem Display aus (P1 für Gesamtöffnung oder P2 für Personenöffnung).
• Stellen Sie bei dem Empfänger IRIN2S D1 auf ON, um in RL1 zu speichern oder drücken Sie
P2, um in RL2 zu speichern.
4 Drücken sie den Knopf des Senders, bis die Steuerung anzeigt, dass der Speichervorgang
durchgeführt worden ist.
5 Lassen Sie die Taste des Senders los. Deaktivieren Sie an der Steuerung den Speichermodus für
den Funkcode.
Der Code des Senders ist in der Steuerung gespeichert.

FEHLERSUCHE
Sollte der Empfänger nicht einwandfrei funktionieren, führen Sie die folgenden Überprüfungen durch:
• Dass der Empfänger korrekt in den Funkanschluss der Steuerung (CM) gesteckt ist.
• Dass die Antenne korrekt angebracht ist.
• Dass der Empfänger mit der Steuerung (CM) und dem Sender kompatibel ist.
• Dass die Steuerung (CM) korrekt installiert ist und mit Strom versorgt wird.
• Den einwandfreien Betrieb des Senders.
• Die korrekte Speicherung des Funkcodes (im Zweifelsfall erneut speichern).
• Den Standort der Antenne oder des Empfängers: falls nötig verändern.
