3. BATTERIES INSTALLATION

1. Slide the battery box
2. Connect the battery (9V Battery).
3. Slide the battery box back on the reader.
4. REFILL CHANGE
WARNING: For your own safety it is suggested to wear gloves during the operation to avoid direct contact
between the electrolyte solution and the skin.
Handle with care:
1. Unscrew the cap of the refill's place
2. Extract the refill and replace with a new one
3. Screw the cap. (Fig. 2)
Pay attention:
well screw the cap, in order to avoid the electrolytic solution to evaporate.
5. TIP CHANGE
If it is necessary to replace the tip (e.g.: in case of pollution), it can be replaced by following the instructions below.
WARNING: For
1. Extract the refill as described in Par. 4.
2. Extract white tip out the refill as shown in the pic (Fig. 3)
3. Insert the new tip into the refill.
4. Insert the refill into the instrument.
5. Screw the cap. (Fig. 2)
